This Week’s Learning 19th July

This week in Topic we completed our Independent Project and had an Andy Goldsworthy art day. For our project we worked in a group to learn a poem about minibeasts. We came up with actions to help us remember the words and then we performed it to the rest of the class. We had such fun! Then we learnt about Andy Goldsworthy. He is a Scottish artist who uses natural materials to create sculptures. We looked closely at the shapes, colours and materials first then we planned our sculpture in his style. Finally we went outside and made our own Andy Goldsworthy sculpture!

This week in Maths we used our knowledge of the two, five and ten times table to work out the related division facts. We tried many different activities including ‘space races’, board games and colouring activities. This was all great practise for our Club 120 test that we completed at the end of the week. A massive well done to all the children who got in! We are so proud of all the work you have done with learning your times table facts!
