Plastic Bottles please

This week, the children will be making their own a seaside in a bottle. We would be very grateful if you could provide your child with a plastic bottle with a lid and bring it in by Tuesday.

It would be best if the bottle was no larger than 1litre please. If you have any spare bottles as well for children who may not bring one in, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much 🙂

Book bags

As part of our uniform policy children in nursery, reception, year 1 and 2 should have a book bag with the school logo on it.  These can be ordered from Stitch Design Ltd, please click on the link below to find out more:

Thank you for ensuring that your child has the correct book bag.  It makes it easier for children to access their bag if they are able to fit into our book bag boxes and prevents upset from children who are comparing book bags.

Summer 1 Health and Wellbeing

This half term our Health and Wellbeing focuses are self-confidence, choices and secrets. These are part of the emotional strand of Health and Wellbeing.

Within these categories we will be learning about:

Self Confidence: how to recognise what we like and dislike, how we feel about ourselves.

Choices: how to make informed choices.

Secrets: to recognise that we share a responsibility for keeping ourselves and others safe.

We will be teaching the following skills:

Self Confidence: to recognise and celebrate our strengths and acheivements whilst setting simple but challenging goals.

Choices: to recognise that our choices can have good and not so good consequences.

Secrets: to recognise the difference between good and not so good secrets that we should share with a grownup we trust.
