Thank you- 20th July 2018!

Thank you for all your hard work and support this year. We have had an amazing group of Year 1 children that we have been so lucky to teach.

We are so proud of all the children and what they have achieved this year!

Thank you also for your incredible kindness and generosity at the end of the year.

We hope you have a fantastic summer and wish all our wonderful learners the very best for Year 2.

Thank you for the voluntary contributions this academic year

We just wanted to say a big thank you to all those parents that paid the voluntary contribution this year. It meant that we were able to provide two workshops for the children one called Magical Toy Museum and another called Seaside Journeys which were both fantastic and really engaged the children in our topic. We were also able to go on our trip to Battersea Park Zoo. Without your contributions activities like this would not have been able to go ahead.

Thanks again

The Year 1 Team

Sports Day

Wow what a great Sports Day for KS1! We are so proud of the children and the effort they put in. It’s clear from the photos they really gave 110%! They showed great sportsmanship by being competitive and also supporting their teams.
Thank you to the PTA who did a stall (which was a welcomed addition) and to all of the parents who could attend the event. You help create such a great atmosphere and they love to see you there!
Well done to the winners – the blue team!

World Cup Semi-Final Tomorrow

Due to the latest successes of the England football team in the World Cup, we have decided to have a World Cup themed mufti day. Children are invited to come to school on tomorrow wearing red and white. Children may wear an England football shirt but no other sports shirts are permitted e.g. Chelsea football top, England rugby top etc. The children can also show their support by coming to school with face paint, flags or any other items that they feel support England.

We invite you to make a donation, big or small, for your child to wear red and white. This money will go towards the renovations of our school swimming pool.

Reading Books

We are collecting all green liaison books and reading books next Monday (16th) to allow TAs enough time to sort the books for September. This means that your child will not have a book to read over the summer but please try to read a variety of books that you have at home during this time or join the local library too for free books to rent!

You will receive your child’s new reading book and liaison book in September.
